Arkansas Better Chance (ABC) is a state-funded program allowing children of low-income families to attend a state-approved, licensed facility for no cost. Arkansas Better Chance programs, such at the one offered at Woodland Heights, are high-quality programs that serve children, ages birth to five, with a variety of risk factors. However, the majority of availability is for three- and four-year-old children.
Families must remain below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL) to qualify for free tuition through the ABC program. However, a discount tuition rate is also available for families below 225% of the Federal Poverty Level.
Parents or guardians of Harrison Preschool students must furnish documentation of eligibility and other required information, including disclosure of annual household income and household member information.
