Parent cooperation is a major factor in the continuing growth and development of any child. This cooperation ensures that open communication is always there for parents as well as teachers. 

Harrison Preschool has implemented the following measures to help boost parent involvement.

• The Parent Resource Center has informational pamphlets and take-home activities available for checkout.
• A parent advisory committee was established to plan and execute extension activities. If you would like to participate on this committee, please contact your child’s teacher.
• Formal parent-teacher conferences will occur twice during the school year, October and March. A sign-up sheet will be posted for parents to choose the optimal day and time. Progress reports, student portfolios and classroom performance will be discussed. Parents are requested to attend.
• Monthly activities and meetings are planned that target various topics related to child growth and development.
